Production companies “Cinnamon Production” and “Absinthe
Production”, following a whole range of feature length
films and documentaries, awarded at festivals world-wide,
as well as series, aired not only in Serbia but also at
some of the most significant television stations in the
world, have initiated a pioneering project - a feature
film “JEDNAKI” (“EQUALS”).
“EQUALS” is an omnibus of 6 stories of children’s rights
and problems affecting the youngest members of our
society, directed by 6 directors and featuring some of the brightest stars among Serbian actors: Mirjana Karanović, Sergej Trifunović, Nebojša Glogovac, Nela Mihajlović, Nenad Okanović, Radoslav Milenković, Feđa Stojanović, Boris Milivojević, Miloš Samolov, Boris Isaković, Marko Gvero, Srđan Miletić, Nele Karajlić, Marko Nikolić, Igor Damjanović, Bojan Žirović, Maja Šarenac, Maša Dakić, Mila Manojlović, Mariana Aranđelović, Ratko Tankosić, Lana Karaklajić, Marko Vetić...
Through individual destinies of boys and girls who are
born, growing up and maturing in harsh living and social
circumstances, the film omnibus EQUALS tells the story of
children’s rights and some of the less frequently talked
about problems that our youngest have to face. Each story
deals with one topic and has its own protagonist. EQUALS
strives to reach the most significant world film festivals of the A list, and the names of authors and contributing artists working on this project attest to this.

Documentary feature “Dani bola i ponosa” (“Days of pain and pride”) was nominated for International EMMY AWARD. “Projection of Sisyphus” short feature, won Grand Prix and Cannes student film festival.

Executive produced and directed the documentary series “Thune” for TV Norge and “Thune files” for Norwegian TV2. Executive producer and director of the game shows “Atrip around the world” and Golden Circle for B92, national TV broadcasting Serbian company.

Biography: He is the author of several short feature films “Živi mrtvaci” (“Living Dead”), “Glad” (“Hunger”), “Pena za brijanje” (“Shaving foam”), as well as medium length and full length documentaries: “Made in Serbia“, “Ali Hamadova priča” (“Ali Hamad’s story”), “Pravo kroz vetar” (“Straight through the wind”), “Ratnici” (“Warriors”), that were shown and amassed quite a success both at home and abroad. His last film is a full-length feature “Život i smrt porno bande” (“The life and death of a porn gang”), which has so far been screened at national feature film festivals and at about forty foreign festivals. The film was awarded several
national and fourteen foreign awards.

Biography: He is director of the series “Crni Gruja” (Black
Gruja) a pun and nod on the famous title of “Black Adder”,
“Fudbal, nogomet i još ponešto” (“Football, Soccer and a Few Other Things”), “Robna kuća” (“Department Store”), “Ne skreći sa staze” (“Don’t stray off the path”). During his career, he has also directed a large number of music videos and TV commercials. He is dedicated to documentaries, he’s directed three featurelength documentaries: “Partizanski film”, (Partizan Film”), “Novo vreme” (“New Age”), “Bijelo dugme” (“White Button”), famous Yugoslav rock band, and a few short films. He is the Director of Programming for Radio Television B92.

Biography: Obtained BFA in film and video from City College
of New York. His debut film “Tamo i ovde” (“Here and There”) won the Tribeca Festival’s Best NY Narrative Award and received critical acclaim from The Hollywood Reporter,
Variety, The New York Times. It subsequently won 20 awards at more than 50 International festivals. FIPRESCI Serbia, voted Darko Lungulov for Best Director in 2009. “Spomenik Majklu Džeksonu” (“Monument to Michael Jackson”), Darko’s second feature had its world premiere at Karlovy Vary International Festival this year. Film has won Grand Prix for best film at Monetnegro Film Festival, Herceg Novi, thus far.

Biography: Born in 1971 in Belgrade. Graduated at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, Dramaturgy Department. Her theatre plays have been performed in Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia. Winner of the “Mihiz” award for dramaturgic creation in 2009. She has published a book “Dramas”. Her children’s fairy tale “Marin” is illustrated and published in Montenegro and supports inclusive
education in kindergartens and schools. She is screenplay writer of the movie „Packing the Monkeys, Again!“ and co-writer of the movie „Kids from Marks and Engels Street“. She was teaching creative writing and dramaturgy at the Faculty of Theatre Arts in Cetinje and Faculty of Visual Arts in Podgorica. She lives in Belgrade.

She graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Acting Department, in the class of professor Vladimir Jevtović in 1994. The same year, she became a member of the National Theatre in Belgrade. In her central theatre, she gave many significant performances in world classics: „Ukroćena goropad" ("The Taming of the Shrew"), „Don Žuan" ("Don Huan"), „San letnje noći" ("Midsummer Night's Dream"), „Uobraženi bolesnik" ("The Imaginary Invalid"), as well as in the plays of domestic authors, such as Nušić, Kovačević, Simović, Laza Kostić. She starred in the TV series: „Selo gori, a baba se češlja" ("The Village is Burning and Grandma is Combing"), „Stižu dolari" ("Dollars Are Coming"), „Montevideo Bog te video" ("Montevideo, God Bless You"), „Cvat lipe na Balkanu" ("The Linden Blossom in the Balkans").

Graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Acting Department. Debuted in 1980. in the film by Srđan Karanović "Petrijin Venac" ("Petria's Wreath"). Her performance in "Otac na službenom putu" ("When Father was Away on Business") directed by Emir Kusturica brought her numerous awards and popularity, after which came many roles in cult films of the Yugoslavian cinematography: "Vreme čuda" ("The Time of Miracles",) "Sabirni centar" ("The Meeting Point"), "Mala" ("Kid"), "Bolje od bekstva" ("Better Than Escape"), "Underground", "Bure baruta" ("Cabaret Balkan"), "Život je čudo" ("Life is a Miracle") etc. She performed in over fifty roles in theatres in the region and in the country. She is currently starring in the following plays in the Yugoslav Drama Theatre (YDT): "Rođeni u YU" ("Born in YU"), "Drama o Mirjani i ovima oko nje" ("A Drama About Mirjana and Those Around Her"), "Zmajeubice" ("Dragonslayers")... She is the laureate of the Sterija Award, „Žanka Stokić" award, numerous international theatre and film awards, five annual awards of the YDT. She is a tenured professor of acting at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts.

In 1980, he graduated from the Academy of Arts, Acting Department, in the class of professor Branko Pleša. Since 1977, he has played 50 roles in the most important theatres of Belgrade, Novi Sad, Zagreb and at Dubrovnik Summer Games. He played in TV dramas and films: "Braća po materi" ("Half-brothers on the Mother's Side"), "Boj na Kosovu" ("The Battle of Kosovo"), "Dom za vešanje" ("Time of the Gipsies"), "Ubistvo s predumišljajem" ("Premeditated Murder"), "Lepa sela lepo gore" ("Pretty Village, Pretty Flame"), "Rane" ("The Wounds"), "Normalni ljudi" ("Normal People"), "Crni Gruja" ("Black Gruja"), "Sedam i po" ("Seven and a Half"), "Četvrti čovek" ("Fourth Man")… He also gave strong performances in TV series "Vratiće se rode" ("The Storks Shall Return"), "Rode u magli" ("Storks in the Mist"), "Sva ta ravnica" ("All The Plains") etc.

He graduated acting in the class of Vlada Jevtović. He has given strong performances in over fifty films and TV series, such as "Ubistvo s predumišljajem" ("Premeditated Murder"), "Do koske" ("Rage"), "Spasitelj" ("The Saviour"), "Bure baruta" ("Cabaret Balkan"), "Nebeska udica" ("Skyhook"), "Normalni ljudi" ("Normal People"), "Munje" ("Thunderbirds"), "Sutra ujutru" ("Tomorrow Morning"), "Klopka" ("The Trap"), "Hadersfild" ("Huddersfield"), "Beli beli svet" ("White, White World"), "Krugovi" ("Circles")… He has been a member of the Yugoslav Drama Theatre since 1996, where he is currently starring in the following plays: "Metamorfoze" ("Metamorphoses"), "Sumnjivo lice" ("A Suspect Individual"), "Hadersfild" ("Huddersfield"), "Šine" ("The Tracks"). He has been awarded four annual YDT awards, Sterija award, „Miloš Žutić" award, „Ardalion" award…

He graduated acting in the class of Vlada Jevtović at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts. His film and television career brought him success in Serbia, as well as in the United States of America. He gained popularity with his roles in the films "Ubistvo s predumišljajem" ("Premeditated Murder"), "Stršljen" ("Hornet"), "Spasitelj" ("The Saviour"), "Munje" ("Thunderbirds"), "Karaula" ("The Border Post"), "Montevideo Bog te video" ("Montevideo, God Bless You"), "Odbrana i zaštita" ("A Stranger") and series "Crni Gruja" ("Black Gruja"), "Na terapiji" ("In Therapy"). He has been awarded numerous theatre awards.

He has performed in over 50 theatre roles. He is a member of the National Theatre in Kikinda, where he is starring in the plays "Sava Savanović - Vampirska simfonija" ("Sava Savanović - A Vampire Symphony") and "Siroti mali hrčki" ("Poor Little Hamsters"). In recent years, audiences had a chance to see his performances in the humoristic series "Nadrealna televizija" ("Surreal Television"), "Dama bez blama" ("A Lady With No Apologies"), "Mala istorija Srbije" ("The Little History of Serbia"), as well as in the TV series "Jagodići".
